Savannah was born on Christmas Eve and I knew from the moment she arrived that she was special. She was our Zachary great granddaughter and possessed many of his talents. Her first time shown in the 6-9 mo puppy class she won a major reserve and was pointed from the 9-12 mo puppy class. What she loved best, however, was being at home and giving her famous Savannah "hugs" to just about anyone. We discovered later that her second love was the whelping box and caring for her puppies. She was always in charge, in her sweet golden way, and left us with a legacy that has made us proud. Thank you, my dear sweet Savannah. No one deserves more than you to be awarded Outstanding Dam.
